Shady Grove, Leslie, AR 72645

Property Description

With nearly half a mile of Little Red River frontage and just under 80 acres, this property feels like a private nature preserve designed for living off the land. Towering hardwoods, maintained through annual controlled burns, create open, park-like woods with clear sightlines and easy walking throughout. The land offers everything a homesteader or preparedness-minded buyer could want—solar power, water well, mature timber, live water, fenced pastures, cattle infrastructure, and established garden space. Rock bluffs overlook wet-weather creeks, and a natural swimming hole and fishing access sit along the river’s edge. Wildlife is abundant, with deer, turkey, bear, and other native species moving through the property regularly. Several ideal building locations provide opportunities for additional cabins, guest homes, or future expansion. The spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bath, 1,736 sq ft home is rustic with cypress accents, efficient, and comfortable, featuring a basement utility room for storage and solar equipment. The long, winding driveway from the front gate feels straight out of a storybook, leading you into a setting so peaceful it’s hard to imagine ever leaving.
